E-book production, marketing and editing services for busy writers

This.  What kind of special pie were these Southern Pied people eating?  Their marketing strategy was utterly worthless in the long-term.  They were able to make money for what, like, five minutes before the whole plan blew up in their faces?

This episode illustrates a downside to what they call the Self-Publishing Revolution.  It’s become so easy to publish that pretty much anyone with an ounce of computer saavy can do it (although not necessarily well).  While I think the democratization of publishing is a positive thing overall, it’s had some unpleasant side effects.  When you get people doing it just because they think they can make a quick buck, you get people making stupid, reckless decisions.  Thus, Nora A. Roberts is born.  Luckily, she seems to have left the world just as quickly as she entered it.
